NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Five men, including a teen, were arrested and taken to court for allegedly violating their bail conditions.

The men, whose ages range from 19 to 56-years-old, were arraigned in the Magistrate’s Court last week charged with failing to charge their ankle monitoring devices, and failing to adhere to their curfews.

Police tell us the men are being monitored after charges of murder, attempted murder, armed robbery and attempted armed robbery.

Last month, Police Commissioner Clayton Fernander promised a crackdown on bail violators.

During that September 20th press conference, Fernander revealed police had charged 38 people for breaching their bail conditions.
