THAILAND – A massacre of dozens of children in Thailand leads to tighter gun control and a crackdown on drugs.

The prime minister of Thailand is ordering law enforcement to even revoke the licenses of people who are seen as a threat to society and regular mental health checks of gun owners.

The Taiwanese prime minister is even asking for more aggressive search and testing for illicit drug use.

These measures are in response to last week’s massacre of 36 people – including 24 children at the hands of an ex-cop who later killed himself.

The incident happened 310 miles Northeast of Bangkok and is one of the worst child
massacres in history.
