NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Tourism arrivals nearing pre-pandemic numbers, according to Deputy Prime Minister and Minister responsible Chester Cooper.

Cooper told reporters this week recent numbers revealing arrivals were only 10% short.

Cooper said advance bookings reveal tourism arrivals for 2023 will exceed 2019 numbers.

It’s welcomed news as the country’s economy continues to bounce back post-COVID-19 which brought the global tourism market to its knees.
