NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The 2023 New Year’s Day Junkanoo parade in Grand Bahama saw the return of some big competition, and those unofficial results were revealed Tuesday night.
It was a big celebration for the Platinum Knights Junkanoo Group as they were declared the unofficial winners of Grand Bahama’s 2023 New Year’s Day Junkanoo parade.
Leader of the group, Thomas Curry described the emotional win, executed under the theme ‘Cheers to 10 Years, Drinks on Us’.
After putting on a stellar performance on Pioneers Way, many spectators say the group should take their talents to bay in New Providence.
After five consecutive wins in their ten-year existence, Curry says the best is yet to come.
