NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police arraigned a 26-year-old man who they believe took part in a gang rape during a home-invasion armed robbery.

Dennis Ingraham appeared before Magistrate Samuel McKinney facing charges of abetment to rape, armed robbery, and burglary.

According to police, three masked gunmen broken into a home on Marshall Road around 5am on January 8.

The intruders tied up a 59-year-old man and his 33-year-old wife and raped her.

They also robbed her husband of $3, his wedding band, worth $2,500 and a $250 cellphone.

The men also robbed the wife of a Movado Watch valued at $600, a pair of sunglasses worth $15 and a kindle tablet valued at $150.

Ingraham didn’t have to enter pleas to the charges.

He was denied bail and returns to court in March to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
