ELEUTHERA, BAHAMAS – Eleuthera’s Island School getting a $10,000 donation from the United States Embassy. The money will go toward creating education material on the realities of climate change.

That’s according to Island School Director of Research and Innovation Nicholas Higgs.

Higgs says it’s important for young people to get onboard with climate change mitigation.

United States Permanent Representative to the UN agencies in Rome, Cindy McCain says it’s important to make our youth good stewards of the planet.
