NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Loved ones of the late Kenise Darville gathered this week to remember the young wife and mother who died last month at the Princess Margaret Hospital. Those who loved her say they will continue to fight for her justice.

It was an emotional evening for family and friends as they gathered to remember the life of a wife, mother, daughter and friend.

33 year old Kenise Darville, died last month, after the mother of three was admitted to the Princess Margaret Hospital on January 2nd.

On January 11th, before her untimely death, Darville took to social media bringing light to the situation which sparked national attention to reports of alleged negligence at PMH, and the dire need for blood in the hospital’s Blood Bank.

This forced the prime minister to tour PMH and hospital administration to have a blood drive.

It is a harsh reality, her family and friends are still trying to come to grips with.

Now an investigation has been launched to find out exactly what went wrong, however in the meantime, her loved ones say they will continue to push for justice.

But their fight will not stop there, her family and friends say they will continue to honor her life by helping others.

Now the blood drive takes place this Valentine’s day at the University of The Bahamas beginning at 10am.
