NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Central Bank of The Bahamas hosted a macro-economic conference this week with affiliates in the region, according to Governor John Rolle, the conference was a gathering of academics and central bank researchers.

He says the participants looked at monetary and fiscal policies in economies like The Bahamas and others in the caribbean.

Rolle says the countries all have similar challenges as the majority of them are tourism dependent countries.

One of the issues that took center stage, inflation, which seems to still be on the rise.
