The victim, a 19-year-old man of Sandilands Village, died on the scene.

His incident comes on the heels of a shooting just hours before on Quintine Alley off Wulff Road and investigators have been busy this week.

On Thursday, police arrested a 34-year-old man in Western New Providence for the murder of 42-year-old Yinka Maria Strachan, whose body was found in the South Beach Canal on the day before.

Officer-in-Charge of the Criminal Investigations Department Chief Superintendent Michael Johnson is attributing the success of that investigation to members of the public.
