One day left for thousands of voters to cast their ballots in local government elections, and Central Grand Bahama candidates are making their final pitch.

Councillor Frazette is seeking a third term to serve in the City of Freeport Council. She says she not only has she completed a number of successful initiatives throughout the communities, there are still  projects in the pipeline she is seeking to bring to fruition. She adds that if re-elected, she plans to raise more awareness of the importance of having a strong local government council.

Running mate and candidate, Marco Carey, says he believes he stands on a record of bringing results to the community for the past 6 years.

Just recently, the pair completed a major project, creating an access road that will give residents a paved road to the only public beach in the city of Freeport. This is a move they say will help bring families together and create healthier residents.

Chair of the Wellington Pinder Heights Neighbourhood Watch Committee, Judith Cooper says she fully endorses both candidates.
