NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The authorities are hoping an exchange of information will help them to finally figure out what led to the deaths of two Bahamians found dead in Italy back in 2019.

Alrae Ramsey and Blair John were found dead in the Po River in Turin on June 4th and 5th, four years ago.

Foreign Affairs Minister Fred Mitchell says now that the complete files have been turned over from the Italian government, they can examine details.

The autopsies reported their deaths were likely a drowning accident but their families refuse to accept that explanation and continue seeking answers.

Mitchell confirms he’s still in contact with the families, who still want closure.
