Parents of Two-Year-Old Charged with Manslaughter by Negligence
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The parents of a two-year-old have been charged in connection with his death.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The parents of a two-year-old have been charged in connection with his death.
Prosecutors say Demargio Thurston, 23, and Sabrina Henry, 20, are criminally responsible for the death of their son Jeremiah Thurston on August 12.
On the day in question, the toddler was found unresponsive while hanging out of the window of his parents’ car.
Thurston and Henry didn’t have to plead to a charge of manslaughter by negligence when they stood before Acting Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.They were remanded into custody overnight and will return to court on Tuesday for a bail hearing.
