GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Major growth is expected for the island of Grand Bahama in the coming months as several projects are currently underway on that northern island. The president of the Grand Bahama Port Authority who says now is the time for Bahamians to plan and prepare for the future.

There are some $2 million worth of investments that are projected for the island of Grand Bahama.

One of the mega projects underway is the Carnival Cruise Port which President of the Grand Bahama Port Authority Ian Rolle says will be complete by next summer.

He says now is the time for Bahamians to plan for what is to come and as a lead up to that, the GBPA will be hosting a business expo on May 2nd at the Grand Lucayan Resort.

The port president shares why he’s optimistic about Grand Bahama’s future.

He says the GBPA is committed to the city of Freeport and is assuring Bahamians they do listen to their comments.
