NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A 38-year-old man is facing a murder charge after he allegedly stabbed a man in the neck last week.

Prosecutors say Cornell Cooper killed Heston Adderley on June 28. According to police, Adderley collapsed on Baillou Hill Road South after he approached a woman’s car.

Police and an ambulance were called and Adderley was declared dead on the scene.

Cooper didn’t have to enter a plea to the murder charge when he stood before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley.

Bail was denied and he’s next due in court in October to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
