Fox Hill Urban Renewal Sheds Light On Youth Programs
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Officials from the Fox Hill Urban Renewal Centre are hard at work, helping the youth in the community through after-school programs.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Officials from the Fox Hill Urban Renewal Centre are hard at work, helping the youth in the community through after-school programs.
While crime fighting is often seen as a police measure, manager of the Fox Hill Urban Renewal Centre, Sonia Kemp says they also have a list of clubs and activities to help keep kids off the streets.
The centre also provides homework assistance and has computers for use for the kids who don’t have access to one at home.
Kemp tells Our News that community children having access to hobbies and knowing they can get better at a skill is vital.
