Grenada Boosting Creative Economy

GRENADA – Grenada Prime Minister Dickon Mitchell urging financial institutions to actively support the development of the creative industries in Grenada saying it is a foreign exchange earner and would also help diversify the country’s economy.

Mitchell, who was speaking at a conference, says the policy interventions being contemplated by his government will involve initiatives not just with the private sector but also with a wide cross-section of stakeholders.

He says in his country’s quest to build a creative economy, his administration understands the need to reach out beyond the shores of Grenada to create synergies with others across the region with a view to learning from others experiences and best practices.
