UNITED STATES – A shorthanded Golden State Warriors team lost Game Two to the Minnesota Timberwolves, 117-93, last night at the Target Center in Minnesota.

Hield finished with 15 points on 5-14 shooting from the field and 4-9 from three-point range.

The Warriors seemed doomed from the start after they opened the game on a nearly five-minute drought.

They were quickly down 13-0 before scoring their first field goal, put up just 15 points in the first quarter, and were never really in it the rest of the way.

Game Three is back at the Chase Center in San Francisco Saturday night at 8:30 PM local time.

Since the calendar flipped to May, Hield has averaged 19.7 points, made just about five threes per game, and is shooting 50 percent from the field.

UB Mingoes to Host Inaugural Golf Invitational

Excitement continues to build for the inaugural University of The Bahamas Mingoes Golf Invitational.

Hosted May 18th at the Royal Blue Golf Course at 2 PM, the event acts as a fundraiser for the UB golf teams and a means to bring awareness to the growth of the program.

Leno is the title sponsor of the event.

Tyreflex Star Motors and Mercedes-Benz have agreed to sponsor the hole-in-one prize for the tournament: a 2024 Mercedes-Benz C-200.

A hole-in-one on the 12th hole gets that golfer the coupe.

Lightbourn Trading has also partnered in the event.

Ryan Knowles – O.M., Tyreflex Star Motors/Mercedes-Benz:
“We have a nation that’s made of athletes, you know. It’s something that we can brag about to the world. And I think golf is a platform that we haven’t really explored yet. And to give young people the opportunity to be able to experience that, I was able to start a little later in life, but it’s a game that the earlier you get into, the better you can become, and you can play for the rest of your life.”
