NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Upgrades to Family Island infrastructure a key priority for the government of The Bahamas. This according to Minister of Family Island Affairs, Clay Sweeting.

The minister says he wants to assure Bahamians that the government’s efforts in re-development, particularly as it relates to roadworks, will not be Nassau-centric.

Bahamas Striping Group of Companies partnering with the government for roadworks on various islands.

The company’s General Manager, Melanie Roach, breaks down the Eleuthera public private partnership roadworks project.

Other upgrades include clearing of road verges, installation of necessary traffic signs, drainage infrastructure and seawalls.

Long Island will also undergo similar roadworks but on 119 miles of roads, 90 on the main highway and 29 settlement roads.
