NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Three months after being diagnosed with a life-threatening brain tumor, a mother of three needs your help to raising money for a much-needed surgery.

Life changed for Chickita Ambrister during the weekend of November 11, 2022, after doctors diagnosed her with a life-threatening brain tumor.

She said for years she’s been having seizures, but doctors could not say why… that is, until she saw a doctor just days shy of her 50th birthday.

The physician ordered a CT scan which revealed a dreadful reality – a tumor that stretched from the right to the left side of her brain.

The tumor not only resulting in excruciating pain, but also impacting her mobility.

The mother of three who enjoys praying and interacting with others from then to now, says the journey has been rough.

She says she has closed herself off from those closest to her, to avoid burdening the ones she loves.

Meanwhile, her son, Marcos Ambrister says the journey at times has been overwhelming…

Ambrister now has to travel to Miami, Florida to have a $45,000 surgery to save her life.

The Ambrister family is raising money to help fund the surgery. Find out more at https://gofund.me/19f807b8 and https://forms.gle/9dbuX4QftxAx3PBF6 .
