Minister of Social Services: “There Are A Total of 38,551 Persons With Disabilities Age 5 And Older”
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Last week, The Bahamas National Statistical Institute released preliminary findings from the 2022 census showing that more than 38,000 Bahamian, age five and older, are living with a disability, representing nearly one in every ten people in the country.
