NASSAU , BAHAMAS – Hundreds of guests flocked to Atlantis on Sunday for the R&B Brunch, an experience that combined great food, live entertainment and soulful vibes.

The event featured performances by the Essence Band and JMac, with R&B star Ginuwine taking centre stage as the headlining act.

Denielle Miller – Our News

“Last R&B Brunch, I was out of the country, but knowing that I would be on island this weekend, I could not miss this instalment featuring Ginuwine and the Essence Band.”

More than 300 guests, great food and the sounds of classic R&B.

Sunday afternoon, Atlantis’ Imperial Ballroom transformed into a soulful celebration as the R&B Brunch brought together music, dining and nostalgia.

Elegantly set tables, champagne and orange juice welcomed guests, while bars, decadent dishes and desserts added to the experience.

The Essence Band set the mood, but the excitement reached another level when Grammy-nominated R&B star Ginuwine took the stage, entering through a rear door to get up close and personal with the crowd.

With more than three decades in the music industry, the singer says the connection between artists and their fans is what makes performing the classics so special.

Ginuwine – Grammy-Nominated Artist

“Experience the moment, the time, and, like I said, where they were when they first heard the songs and everything. The kids now, everything is on the computer. Everything is on the computer, and yes, it’s got its benefits and it’s got its pros and cons. I like coming out to see the people, to touch the people and sing to the people, and pay homage to the people in my own way for continuing to support us throughout these years.”

“I actually did expect the performance he had provided, but it was really good. I haven’t seen Ginuwine in years, so it was amazing to see him this afternoon.”
