NASSAU, BAHAMAS – New details emerging following reports that some Bahamians are obtaining fraudulent vaccination cards in lieu of actually getting the jab against COVID-19.

Minister of Health and Wellness Dr. Michael Darville reveals new details about an ongoing investigation into the alleged production of fraudulent vaccination cards by some printing companies.

The Vaccination Committee notified police that counterfeit vaccination cards missing certain information were appearing in their system.

Dr. Darville says he doesn’t believe a large number of cards were produced, and those involved may not realize it is against the law.

Dr. Darville says the vaccination committee’s database remains unaffected and his team remains vigilant.
