NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Bahamas Electrical Workers Union sending a stern warning to the powers that be following a myraid of concerns at Bahamas Power and Light. In an interview today, the union president says they’ve been waiting for government to intervene but to no avail adding that the time for talk is over and the union is now ready for action.

Those strong words coming from President of The Bahamas Electrical Workers Union Kyle Wilson who says the union is giving management 30 days to respond to the union’s concerns at Bahamas Power and Light.

He says he has also tried to meet with the CEO of the company to discuss some of the issues.
He believes the unions concerns are falling on deaf ears and claims he had a meeting scheduled with the permanent secretary in the Ministry of Works but says that did not happen.
