NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Shakanda Coleby says her recent health challenges have had her in and out of hospital, making her day to day life more difficult.

And, recently while she was in desperate need of blood, she says it was one conversation that brought a glimmer of hope.

The life-changing conversation led to an outpouring of love from a group of officers who donated blood.

And, Shakanda says because of their good deed, her children will get to witness their mother live to see another day.
