ALBERSIZAN – Activists displayed giant letters spelling “Pay Up!” at COP29 in Baku, urging wealthy nations to increase funding for climate action.

The climate finance group says the issue isn’t a lack of money but political will, suggesting cuts to fossil fuel subsidies and taxing the rich.

Demonstrators inside the stadium also chanted for “trillions, not billions,” highlighting the $1 trillion annually needed by 2030 for developing countries.
