Water Supply Improvement on Tap Throughout Exuma
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Water and Sewerage Corporation’s plans to bring piped water to Little Exuma. The minister responsible says the work doesn’t stop there.
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – More improvements for Exuma’s water supply is on the way for residents, as Works and Utilities Minister Alfred Sears says residents and businesses throughout the Exuma chain will see upgrades as well.
He adds that residents will soon see additional storage, pumping capacity and standby power generation to improve the reliability of its supply for western Exuma.
Sears says the corporation will also work with stakeholders to support the refurbishment of the Exuma wastewater treatment plant and improve the collection of wastewater from developments in Georgetown and Elizabeth Harbor.
