Teen Charged With Killing Man On Bail Outside Australia Ave. Home

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A teen accused of killing a man on bail for murder has been charged.
Prosecutors say the 16-year-old is responsible for the shooting of Torieano Cummings on March 1.

Cummings was in front of a home on Australia Avenue when two gunmen fired a barrage of bullets at him.

At the time of his death, Cummings was on bail for the December 2017 murder of Louines Naissance.

The teen was not required to enter a plea when he appeared before Senior Magistrate Algernon Allen Jr.

He was remanded to the Adolescent Section of the prison.

He returns to court on July 23 to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
