New data shows a nearly 16% drop in U.S.-bound shipments in the first half of 2025, following tariff hikes by President Donald Trump.
One of the port’s key operators says terminals are nearing full capacity as shipping lines rush to beat a possible 30% tariff set for August 1.
European officials are still pushing Washington for a deal to ease trade tensions.
