NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Earlier this week, Our Joshua Williams visited a local summer camp for autistic students, where organizers told him it mixes the perfect blend of learning and fun. He also met some very special teachers and campers. Here’s that report.

Living and working with children that have been diagnosed with autism can be a challenge but those that work at R.E.A.C.H. Bahamas are dedicated to helping children live the best lives possible.

Earlier this week I visited R.E.A.C.H’s summer camp where I met some of the students.

During my visit, I also caught up with Camp Coordinator Jensel Watkins, who explained the skillset needed to work with austistic children.

During my visit, I saw the kids showing off their creative sidess – coloring, drawing, singing, and even carving out shapes on wood.

Earthlyn Pratt is a parent who also help out as a teacher.

That enthusiasm was evident for one of the students, ater he told me he wanted to be interviewed.
