INDONESIA – A heartbreaking tragedy in Indonesia, where recovery crews continue pulling bodies from the rubble of a collapsed prayer hall.

The death toll has now climbed to at least 60 after a building at an Islamic boarding school on Java Island caved in during afternoon prayers last week.

Authorities say most of the victims were boys between 12 and 19 years old.

Officials say nearly a hundred students were injured, and four remain in the hospital after amputations. Only one student escaped without harm.

On Monday alone, workers recovered 11 more bodies and several body parts as heavy machinery dug through the rubble. a

Authorities warn, there is little hope of finding survivors.

Grief-stricken relatives are providing DNA samples to help identify loved ones… as the search continues for three students still missing.
