NASSAU, BAHAMAS – At just ten years old, Lenox Lockhart is already making history in motorsport.
The Bahamian Racer has dominated the American karting circuit, winning titles in Florida, Indiana, and Wisconsin while also becoming the first Bahamian to win a major karting title in the United States.
Lenox currently drives for Team Sodi by Velocity Racing. Over the past four years, he has racked up 19 wins, 38 podiums, and 40 top-five finishes.
Next up, he’ll compete at the RMC US Trophy Finals in Indiana, with his eyes set on qualifying for the Rotax Grand Finals in Bahrain — where he plans to represent the Bahamas on the world stage.
His decision to race for the Bahamas, instead of the United States, has been celebrated by the Bahamas Motorsport Association, calling him a “historic talent.”
Lockhart says he loves the culture, the people, and the feeling of being home. His ultimate goal is to one day drive in Formula One, following in the footsteps of his hero, Charles Leclerc.
The ten-year-old speedster continues chasing his dream and carrying the Bahamian flag into the fast lane of world motorsport.
