NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Ministry of Labor and Public Service, launching a landmark initiative, – a national survey aimed at driving productivity, innovation, and economic resilience.

The Bahamas Productivity Innovation and Competitiveness Council is launching the survey as part of government’s efforts to improve work place productivity.

However, will this affect the tourism industry?

According to former tourism minister, Vincent Vanderpool-Wallace, who serves as deputy chairman of the council, the initiative will be key in improving soft skills in the industry.

As technology gets better, we’ve been introduced to artificial intelligence, which has become a a tool that anyone can use, but can this new reality and the use of technology impact productivity in the work place.
