NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The release of the controversial Epstein files are a political hot button all over the world.

These allegations have led to a lot of embarrassment for many governments globally, and now The Bahamas has shown up in this highly controversial case.

Prime Minister Philip Davis was pressed by reporters Friday on this subject.

“ I don’t know much as much about what is in those files and what those files mean.”

A Progressive Liberal Party candidate, a current ambassador and others names appeared in the recently released Epstein court files – with one of the last names misspelled.

The file is a Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) document that summarizes the May 20, 2021 interviews of several people connected to Epstein.

When questioned, Davis told reporters that he’ll reserve his comments until he’s fully brought up to speed on the matter.

The Epstein files, unsealed as part of ongoing legal proceedings in the United States, have sparked renewed global debate prompting reactions from public figures, governments, and political parties worldwide.

Davis was asked does he think this will cause any reputational damage or possibly hurt his campaign in the upcoming general election – here’s what the prime minister had to say.
