NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Over 500 students in the St. Barnabas constituency were gifted back to school supplies yesterday at Mother Pratt Park, thanks to Senator Michael Halkitis. He says the goal is to assist families as they prepare for the return of full face to face learning.

The event also marked the launch of free wifi services on the park. Halkitis notes that many families struggled with online learning during the pandemic due to internet challenges.

And, if you missed out on this giveaway, he says more packages will be available in the coming weeks.

Also, in the back to school spirit, the Member of Parliament for Fox Hill, Fred Mitchell….. Mitchell taking a more hands on approach as he showcased his braiding skills during his braiding and hair cutting initiative.
