NASSAU, BAHAMAS – More information may soon be released in the police probe into an incident involving a Progressive Liberal Party cabinet minister.

Police Commissioner Clayton Fernander promising an announcement is coming soon.

Police were looking into allegations that Transport and Housing Minister Jobeth Coleby-Davis allegedly struck an officer with her car.

Back in June Prime Minister Philip Davis said police never launched an investigation into the allegations.

The PM’s comments came after former Police Commissioner Paul Rolle said the matter was under active investigation.

At a press conference on Tuesday, Commissioner Fernander said there has been movements on the matter.
