NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Former Minister of Health Dr. Duane Sands says more attention needs to be paid to Princess Margaret Hospital.

This after Prime Minister Philip Davis announced new hospitals are on the way for New Providence and Grand Bahama, in his first national address.

Davis says progress has been made on securing both the land and resources for the new hospitals with ground expected to be broken on a new $200 million facility in Grand Bahama.

But Dr. Sands says the focus now, should be what’s happening at PMH.
