NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A site has been identified for the construction of a new hospital in New Providence, according to the health minister who adds he should be able to reveal the new site within two months.

While he was unable to reveal the selected site, Dr. Michael Darville revealed all of the options.

Prime Minister Philip Davis, in his national address on Tuesday, said a site was identified.

The construction of a new healthcare facility in New Providence and Grand Bahama was promised in the blueprint for change.

Dr. Darville says he’s pleased with the new site.
