NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Ransacked and robbed. Owners of the Fox Hill Nursery woke up to this reality. The local plant nursery the latest target for daring thieves, who reportedly stole thousands of dollars worth of equipment after wrecking the shop and then simply walking out the front door overnight.

Nursery Manager Amanda Myers says she got a call at 4:00AM on Monday morning explaining the front door of the nursery was open. What they discovered when they got inside was $3,000 in supplies were stolen. Myers says the thieves also stole sodas from the refrigerator. She’s calling the break-in a great inconvenience.

But, according to Myers this isn’t the first time something like this has happened.

She says the plan now is to beef up security.

When we got to the nursery this morning, Myers and workers had already cleaned up and the store was once again ready to welcome customers.

Myers feels the thieves were no strangers to the store.
