GRAND BAHAMA, BAHAMAS – Grand Bahama hosting a full scale Junkanoo parade for the first time in three years.

The parade was downscaled and postponed over the years due to hurricane Dorian and the COVID-19 pandemic, but residents turned out in large numbers on Monday evening to support their favorite groups.

That’s the level of excitement that the Junkanoo groups brought to Pioneers Way in downtown Freeport.

In the A division, the Classic Dancers, Platinum Knights, Swingers, Superstar Rockers and the Classic Dancers.

These residents calling the groups performances spectacular, including Showtime, the Kingdom Ambassadors and the Bushwackers in the B division, and the fun group, Da Women Dem.
