China Donates US$170K Worth of Medical Supplies

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The People’s Republic of China, Thursday, donated medical supplies worth US$170,000 to the Government of The Bahamas, to help in the fight against COVID-19.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The People’s Republic of China, Thursday, donated medical supplies worth US$170,000 to the Government of The Bahamas, to help in the fight against COVID-19.

Ambassador to The Bahamas, Her Excellency Dai Quingli, says the supplies include oximeters, masks, shoe covers and hospital trolleys.

“This is the 11th batch and largest so far, of medical supplies and equipment donated to The Bahamas since the start of the COVID pandemic,” Quingli said.

She explained the supplies were provided following a meeting with Caribbean foreign ministers in April, 2022.
