TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS – More than 200 illegal migrants were intercepted in the Turks and Caicos Islands on Wednesday afternoon.
TURKS AND CAICOS ISLANDS – More than 200 illegal migrants were intercepted in the Turks and Caicos Islands on Wednesday afternoon after the Royal TCI Police Force say they received reports of a suspicious vessel making its way towards west Caicos.
Police say marine branch officers intercepted the vessel about 3.5 miles south-west of the Bluff, Providenciales.
Among the group was 40 females and 162 males, including four minors.
