CUBA – Banks in Cuba are now accepting cash deposits in U.S. dollars after an almost two year ban was lifted on Monday.

The Cuban government citing “Continuing difficulties caused by the ongoing us embargo” as the reason for the ban.

The move comes as Cuba struggles with the worst economic crisis in decades.
