NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Bahamians met up in the majors last night as Jazz Chisholm and his Miami Marlins played Antoan Richardson and the San Francisco giants last night.

Centerfielder Jazz Chisholm and his Miami Marlins played first base coach Antoan Richardson’s San Francisco giants last night in the Sunshine State.

Jazz has been caught up in a slump recently, but he busted out of it last night going 2 for 4 with a couple of singles, an RBI, and a stolen base. That RBI was just what the Marlins needed as the beat the Giants 4-3.

Their three-game series continues tonight in Miami.

Klay Thompson’s Golden State Warriors played the Sacramento Kings in the first round of the NBA playoffs last night. It didn’t go well for Klay and the Dubs.

Klay Thompson and the the Golden State Warriors fell behind to the Sacramento Kings 2-0 in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs last night.

The dubs were led by Stephen Curry who had 28 points and 6 assists. Andrew Wiggins came back in a big way with 22 points and 5 rebounds, while Klay scored 21, pulled down 5 rebounds, and dished out 3 assists.

It wasn’t enough to stop the Kings onslought, led by De’Aaron Fox and Domantis Sabonis, who scored 24 points apiece.

The series moves to the Warriors’ home court in San zfrancisco tomorrow night.

And, finally, The Bahamas women’s under-20 soccer team is playing right now at the Jean Francisca Stadium in Willemstad, Curacao, literally a few feet away from where the CARIFTA swim team won their 5th straight title.
