NASSAU, BAHAMAS – National Security Minister Wayne Munroe says despite the high solvency rates, the community has failed in preventing crime.

Since the announcement of a downward trend in crime by Commissioner of Police Clayton Fernander, the country has recorded three crimes in the last few days.

While law enforcement officials are tasked with the day-to-day fight against crime, Munroe is calling on family members who continuously harbor relatives who commit criminal acts to contact authorities instead of crying later.
