NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The tradition of Mother’s Day has been around since ancient times and is now celebrated in 50 countries but, on different dates.

It wasn’t until 1914 when the date was etched on the American calendar to be celebrated on the second Sunday in May. A date and tradition we have adopted here in The Bahamas.

Our News team spoke to several residents this weekend to see how they will be celebrating the special moms in their lives.
