NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The Royal Bahamas Police Force reminding the public to be vigilant and maintain law and order this Labour Day weekend.

As the workforce gears up to celebrate at the annual Sir Randol Fawkes Labour Day Parade, Assistant Commissioner of Police Zhivago Dames advises on the temporary road closures beginning at 7am until the passing of the parade on Friday.

He is also reminding spectators that weapons, glass bottles, fireworks and other items that threaten public safety are banned from the parade route. 

Officer in Charge of the Traffic Division, Chief Superintendent of Police David Lockhart also reminding the public of the importance of following rules of the road.
