NASSAU, BAHAMAS – A man is behind bars after being accused of separate murders this year.

Prosecutors allege that 23-year-old Laudel Ferguson is the gunman who fatally shot Hugh Bowe on January 15th and Claude Perry on April 22nd.

Bowe, who was on bail for the 2019 murder of Jarvis Butler, was shot dead as he was about to enter a car outside a home in Flamingo Gardens.

Perry was killed in an ambush shooting after he arrived at his home in Stapledon Gardens.

Ferguson didn’t have to enter pleas to the charges when he appeared before Senior Magistrate Carolyn Vogt-Evans. Bail was denied and Ferguson returns to court on September 22nd to receive voluntary bill of indictment papers.
