NASSAU, BAHAMAS – The country is in the second month of the hurricane season, and with no named storms impacting the country so far, various entities such as the Adventist Development and Relief Agency (ADRA) are still taking the necessary steps to ensure residents are ready.

ADRA Country Director Henry Moncur says they plan on taking hurricane awareness to the schools once they re-open.

The agency has been key in helping residents throughout the country when disasters hit.

Moncur says while they take pride in this, ADRA encourages everyone to always be prepared.
