Americans, Two Bahamians Accused of Murder Plot Get Bail

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An American woman and two Bahamian men accused of conspiring to murder her estranged husband have been granted bail by the a Supreme Court judge.

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – An American woman and two Bahamian men accused of conspiring to murder her estranged husband have been granted bail by the a Supreme Court judge.

Prosecutors say Lindsay Shiver, Terrance Bethel and Faron Roberts Jr made plans to kill Robert Shiver on July 16.

Shiver’s bail has been set at $100,000 cash on the condition that she remains in The Bahamas until she received a voluntary bill of indictment on October 5.

She also has to wear and ankle monitor and keep a curfew.

Shiver’s alleged coconspirators, Bethel and Roberts, were granted $20,000 bail each. They were also placed on a daily curfew and have to wear an ankle bracelet.

All of the accused are prohibited from coming within 100 feet of the complainant and civilian witnesses in the case.
