Heroic Lifeguards Share Story Of Rescue
NASSAU, BAHAMAS – 26-year-old Sashuan Armbrister, has a background in competitive swimming and was the only lifeguard who made it all the way out to the men near the buoy line and as fate would have it, he almost was not there.

22-year-old Martinique Leary also jumped into action. Although she was scared, she says she made multiple attempts to swim out to help bring the men to safety.
RIU lifeguard Travis Sands, says he is just grateful the story had a happy ending.
